The IDF and Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) killed the terrorist Ismail Abu Pul, commander of a weapons production site at Hamas’s production headquarters, who took part in producing charges and anti-tank missiles for the terror organization in a strike on the Al-Maghazi area in Gaza, the military announced on Sunday.
In addition, the same production site, which was established near an aid distribution point for an international organization, was attacked, the military said, calling it an example of Hamas’s systematic use of civilian infrastructure for the purpose of promoting and executing terrorist plots against IDF forces operating in the Yellow Line area and Israeli citizens.
The IDF also referred to Hamas’s actions as systematically violating the ceasefire, while attempting to restore its military capabilities.
Hamas health officials say two killed in strikes
Earlier on Sunday, Hamas health officials said that two people, including a four-year-old boy, were killed in IDF strikes.
Hamas officials said flying debris and shrapnel that spread for dozens of meters around had wounded at least six people, including the 4-year-old, Mohammad Abdel-Salam Taha, who was later pronounced dead at a hospital.
The second airstrike took place in the nearby Nuseirat refugee camp, the Hamas health officials said.
