Bus accident killed 21, left several wounded in Egypt’s South Sinai, health ministry says

At least 21 people were killed and 28 wounded in a bus accident on Egypt’s Dahab-Nuweibaa road in South Sinai on Wednesday, the health ministry said in a statement.

Israel Police and Magen David Adom are actively trying to determine if any Israelis were wounded during the accident, N12 reported.

The area along the Red Sea coast is popular with tourists.

Last month, 15 people were killed and 32 wounded in a road accident in Egypt’s Ismailia governorate.
