An investigation into the unusual turbulence which hit an Air India flight from Thailand to Delhi in August, resulting in the injury of over 20 people, revealed that the captain’s confirmatory test for psychoactive substances was non-negative, the India air accident body announced on Friday.
According to the body, four people were seriously injured during the incident, and another 20 lightly injured.
The investigation further revealed that the seat belt signs had been off at the time of the turbulence, and that flight control systems detected the loss of all three hydraulic systems.
