A Hamas terror cell operating in the West Bank area of Akraba near Nablus was dismantled during a multi-agency counterterrorism operation, the IDF and Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) announced in a joint statement on Sunday.
Working alongside Israel Police’s Counterterrorism Unit (YAMAM), the IDF and Shin Bet arrested ten terrorists working to advance terror attacks against Israeli civilians.
In addition, the security forces located and dismantled a rocket found in the area, without a launcher.
During questioning, one of the terrorists revealed the location of a weapons cache, containing an M16 rifle and a large quantity of explosives. These were also dismantled immediately.
