The IRGC targeted the Surdash camp, an Iranian Kurdish area of the Biban region, where families of Iranian Kurdish opponents live, with two drones, the Kurdistan Regional Government Security Directorate stated on Tuesday.

No casualties were reported, according to the security directorate.

Additionally, residents in Bandar Abbas, Qeshm, and Sirik reported hearing explosions around 4 a.m. local time, several hours after the reported explosions in the Biban region.

Provincial authorities later confirmed the sounds were caused by air defenses intercepting small drones and reconnaissance drones, according to the Students News Network, adding that no impact, damage, or explosion had occurred.

UAE fends off waves of strikes from IRGC

United Arab Emirates air defenses were engaged against Iranian missiles and drones for the second day in a row, the UAE Defense Ministry said on Tuesday in an X/Twitter post.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry denied launching missiles and drones at the UAE, claiming that they were conducting “defense measures” aimed at US assets in a statement released later on Tuesday.

The Foreign Ministry accused the UAE of “collaboration with hostile parties” by hosting US military bases, warning that such collaboration could have “dangerous consequences.”

This is a developing story.
