An Israeli citizen was sentenced to 55 months in prison on Tuesday after he was convicted as part of a plea deal, which did not include an agreement on sentencing, for contact with an Iranian foreign agent.
The Israeli, Fares Abu al Hija, 32, of Kaukab Abu al Hija, is alleged to have conducted spying operations for Iran, including taking photographs of former defense minister Yoav Gallant’s house.
