The IDF killed the terrorist who wounded one person in a terror stabbing attack at Maoz Yehuda Farm near Kusra in the West Bank on Monday morning, the military announced in an afternoon statement.

IDF soldiers located the terrorist near his vehicle in the area of Qabalan. Upon being located, the terrorist attempted to stab the soldiers. An IDF commander responded with fire and killed him.

The terrorist arrived at the farm in a car, asked the victim, a man in his 20s, if he was armed, before attacking him. The terrorist then fled in a white van.

Israeli media reported that the victim is a resident of Migdal Ha’emek and was stabbed while in a Range Rover.

According to KAN News, the terrorist’s phone fell from his pocket while fleeing the scene and has been identified as an individual known to the security establishment.

The victim is conscious and is being treated by first responders attached to the IDF, Rescuers Without Borders (Hatzalah Without Borders) said, adding that the victim has been evacuated to the Rabin Medical Center-Beilinson Campus in Petah Tikva.

“We were led to a farm where we found a young man, about 19 years old, conscious, suffering from stab wounds to the head, neck, and limbs,” said Rescuers Without Borders Magen David Adom medics Aviel Mamelia and Neria Giat. “In cooperation with an IDF medical force and together with other medics and paramedics who arrived at the scene, we provided the injured man with initial medical treatment, including stopping the bleeding, bandaging, and immobilization.”

They added that he is being transported to Beilinson’s trauma unit in a military ambulance.

The IDF and Israel Police responded to the incident, imposing a blockade on the surrounding villages.

The military’s elite undercover Duvdevan Unit, Nahal Brigade, and Unit 636 of the Combat Intelligence Collection Corps were among the forces dispatched to search for the terrorist.

Expecting a ‘full-scale operation’ against terrorism

Defense Minister Israel Katz announced that he and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have directed the IDF to launch an “all-out war” against terrorism in the West Bank and the bodies that enable it.

“Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and I instructed the IDF to prepare to launch an all-out war against senior officials and mechanisms of the PA and the bodies associated with them, and against all terrorist infrastructure in Judea and Samaria – in order to quickly bring about their complete defeat.”

Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich sent well-wishes to the victim and support to the security forces searching for the terrorist.

Am Yisrael needs a strong and united national camp that will continue to develop the farm enterprise we established in Judea and Samaria – Israel’s security belt,” he wrote in a post to X/Twitter.

“[This is] a very serious attack,” Samaria Regional Council Head Yossi Dagan said. “I expect a full-scale operation in the area to go door-to-door and collect weapons, to crush the infrastructure of the supporters of terrorism.”

“I am strengthening the hands of IDF soldiers and IDF command and praying for the recovery of the wounded,” he said, adding that he is in contact with security officials on the ground and receiving updates from the field.

“I demand that all roads in the area be closed immediately, that the terrorist be captured, and that everyone who helped him be held accountable. The settlements in Samaria and all of Israel will not surrender to terrorism. We will continue to build, strengthen ourselves, hold on to the land, and build Samaria.”
