Employees of a French cargo company refused to load an Elbit Systems security shipment onto an El Al aircraft scheduled to fly from Paris to Israel on Saturday evening, N12 News reported on Friday.

Israeli security officials have intervened in an attempt to resolve the issue, according to N12.

The report identified the Paris-based company as “Cargo,” with the company’s workers’ committee organizing a boycott of the loading operation.

The boycott comes as the latest example of Israeli defense companies facing discriminatory issues in France following the October 7 attacks.

Israeli defense booths boarded up at Paris weapons exhibition

In June, fourteen Israeli companies were not allowed to present their systems on the opening day of the Eurostarry weapons exhibition in Paris, while thirty agreed to abide by a discriminatory policy that allowed them to only showcase defensive solutions at the largest international exhibition for the land and air-land defense and security industry.

Elbit was one of the companies allowed to display its platforms.

Yonah Jeremy Bob and Anna Ahronheim contributed to this report.
