Tzachi Braverman, the chief of staff at the Prime Minister’s Office and designated ambassador to the UK, will be summoned for a pre-indictment hearing, the State Attorney’s Office announced on Tuesday.
At the heart of the matter, for which the prosecution is considering bringing criminal charges against him, is the “midnight meeting” affair, a sub-chapter in the larger “Bild” leak case and connected “Qatargate” case.
The theoretical charges being considered are fraud, breach-of-trust and obstruction of justice.
