Cisco expanded access to its network intelligence tools and introduced new partner incentives on Monday, alongside infrastructure features aimed at businesses deploying artificial-intelligence systems.

At its Partner Summit in Vancouver, Cisco announced general availability of Cisco IQ for Partners. The service gives partners access to information about customer infrastructure, with customer-granted permissions, to support troubleshooting, risk assessment and upgrade planning.

Cisco said expanded API access and an MCP server would let partners connect that intelligence to their own services and AI tools. New role-based access controls let customers grant partners visibility into their installed equipment.

The company also introduced Model Foundry within Cisco Cloud Control, a service for evaluating, fine-tuning and running Cisco models against an organization’s own data. Controlled availability begins with Cisco partners, rather than an unrestricted general release.

For networking, Cisco said it is integrating ThousandEyes performance monitoring into eligible Wi-Fi 6E and Wi-Fi 7 access points. The announcement also includes new MCP servers intended to connect AI tools with live network data.

The Cisco 360 Partner Program is adding Ecosystem Deal Registration to recognize work by advisers and developers that contributes to transactions. The company also announced a two-percentage-point additional cross-sell bonus for eligible Preferred and Portfolio partners entering new Cisco product areas with existing customer accounts.

Some security additions remain on a later timetable. Cisco said Live Protect support for its 8000 Secure Routers and firewalls is intended by the end of 2026. A privileged-access service for network teams and AI agents is being developed with Teleport, according to the company’s October 26 announcement.
