President Donald Trump said Monday that people who report voter fraud in past elections or the 2026 midterms would receive $1 million if their information leads to an arrest and conviction.
The offer, made in a post on his Truth Social account, ties payment to both steps. It does not promise a payout simply for submitting an allegation.
“Anybody reporting Voter Fraud in the past Elections, or the upcoming 2026 Midterm Election, will be paid $1,000,000 upon the arrest and conviction of those that created the Fraud!” Trump wrote.
Payment details were not in the announcement
Trump’s post did not identify a source of money for the rewards, name an agency that would administer them, or explain how someone should submit a report or apply for payment.
Those omissions leave a distinction between the president’s public offer and the practical steps needed to claim it. The announcement alone does not establish that a particular person is eligible for a payment.
The post also did not identify a specific fraud case or provide evidence of misconduct in any election. It described an offer covering past elections as well as the coming midterms, with the same arrest-and-conviction condition.
