The IDF killed three terrorists on Thursday, including a Hamas Nukhba who infiltrated Kibbutz Nir Oz and took part in the abduction of Israeli civilians during the October 7th massacre, the military said on Wednesday.
Ahmed Muhammad Ahmed Baraka, a Nukhba terrorist in Hamas’ military wing, was killed in southern Gaza during Thursday strikes, the military announced.
The terrorist was responsible for abducting Israeli civilians during the October 7 massacre, including Alexander Dancyg from Kibbutz Nir Oz, the IDF said.
According to the military, he also held several hostages during the war, including Nimrod Cohen in the southern Gaza Strip.
Two terrorists killed in northern Gaza
The military also announced that the other two terrorists killed were targeted in Friday strikes on northern Gaza.
The IDF said that Omar Awadallah, a Nukhba platoon commander, and Moataz Mahmoud Mohammed Al-Nimr, a Nukhba terrorist, were confirmed killed during the strikes.
According to the military, both terrorists were operating to “restore the Hamas terrorist organization’s capabilities,” while also carrying out advanced terrorist attacks against IDF soldiers and Israeli civilians.
The military also said that, prior to the strike, steps were taken to mitigate harm to civilians, including the use of precision munitions and aerial surveillance.
