Border Police officers and IDF soldiers seized a major weapons cache in the West Bank village of Hable, near Kalkilya, on Thursday night, police said on Friday morning, adding that two suspects were arrested in connection with the discovery.

Acting on intelligence from the Judea and Samaria Division’s anti-crime unit, the forces raided the suspected location and discovered three handguns (one of them an airsoft pistol), an M-4 assault rifle, components for several M-16 assault rifles, more than 2,300 rounds of assorted ammunition, and 67 magazines for M-16s, Kalashnikov rifles, Uzi submachine guns, and handguns. Some of the magazines were loaded, according to police.

Moreover, police seized silencers, weapon sights, three RONI conversion kits designed to improve the accuracy and range of handguns, dozens of assorted weapons parts, tactical accessories, and miscellaneous equipment.

Also on Thursday night, IDF soldiers arrested four people in the area around Jenin. The four are suspected of involvement in the Jenin terror network that the IDF claims it dismantled in Operation Iron Wall, launched in January 2025.

The weapons and suspected drugs were found hidden inside a refrigerator; their discovery was made possible by police dogs Spike and Rakefet, police said.
