Context Labs launched AI Distillery on Sunday, November 1, saying its new software lets businesses prepare their own operating data for artificial intelligence systems while keeping that information inside their own data center or chosen cloud.

The company, which has offices in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and Houston, said the product is available through Microsoft Marketplace. The launch targets a practical problem for companies adopting AI: giving a model useful business information without losing control of proprietary records or being tied to one model provider.

According to Context Labs, the software brings structured and unstructured records into a governed “Context Package” owned by the customer. The company says answers can be traced back to source records and that customers can use frontier or open-weight models without rebuilding that package.

The product also includes agents for operational, commercial and compliance questions, along with a connection that brings company context into AI assistants employees already use. Context Labs says both follow access controls set by the customer.

Context Labs is demonstrating energy-sector uses at the ADIPEC conference in Abu Dhabi. The company says each enterprise license includes an industry starter kit. Its announcement did not provide a public price, independent performance tests or named customer results.
