President Donald Trump is scheduled to speak at the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool in Washington at 2 p.m. Eastern time on Monday, November 2, with nine telephone rallies also on his agenda for the day before the midterm elections. The White House’s daily guidance, reproduced by Mace News, lists the afternoon remarks and a series of tele-rallies from the White House.
The schedule puts his first two tele-rallies at 11 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. He is then due to travel from the White House to the Reflecting Pool for the 2 p.m. appearance before returning to the White House.
Seven more tele-rallies are scheduled for 4 p.m., 4:45 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 6:15 p.m., 7 p.m., 7:45 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. All times are Eastern. The calls allow Trump to campaign remotely rather than travel to a different location for each appearance.
The published White House press schedule marks all nine tele-rallies as closed to the press. It lists the Reflecting Pool remarks as open to media who have received credentials in advance. The guidance does not name the audiences for the calls or give the text of the planned remarks.
Monday is the final full day before Election Day on Tuesday, November 3. Trump’s schedule remains a plan for the day, not a record of appearances already completed.
