Tesla said its Robotaxi ride-hailing service would open in Fort Worth, Texas, at 6 a.m. Monday, November 2, adding another city to its Texas network. The company announced the launch through its official Robotaxi account in a post quoted by Tesla North.

“Robotaxi available in Fort Worth starting tomorrow, 6am,” the company wrote in its Sunday-night announcement. The post was accompanied by a launch map, but did not disclose a Fort Worth vehicle count or fare schedule.

The announcement expands Tesla’s presence in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area. Tesla North reported that Fort Worth is the fourth Texas city in the company’s Robotaxi network, following Austin, Dallas and Houston.

Local operating details remain unspecified

Tesla North reported that riders book the service through the Tesla Robotaxi app. The company’s short announcement did not establish whether any promotional offers in other cities would apply in Fort Worth.

The launch also leaves several operational details unresolved. The announcement quoted by Tesla North did not say how many vehicles would be assigned to Fort Worth or whether the vehicles there would carry a safety monitor. It did not say whether the Fort Worth and Dallas service areas would eventually connect.
