Fanatics and the National Hockey League launched a 32-team special-edition uniform and fan apparel program Monday, November 2, with merchandise going on sale the same day and the first teams scheduled to wear the new designs that night.
The NHL announcement calls the collection Hometown Remix and describes it as Fanatics’ first full leaguewide special-edition program since becoming the NHL’s on-ice uniform partner and authentic outfitter in 2024. The companies said the designs were developed over two years with individual clubs.
The Florida Panthers, Chicago Blackhawks and San Jose Sharks are scheduled to debut their uniforms Monday night. Each club will wear its design several times during the 2026-27 season. The league said 261 games will feature at least one Hometown Remix uniform, including 19 matchups in which both teams will wear them.
The collection extends beyond jerseys to hats, hoodies, T-shirts, fleece and outerwear. Fanatics and the NHL said the merchandise is available through NHLShop.com, NHLShop.ca, Fanatics.com, team stores and the NHL Shop NYC flagship store. Both Authentic Pro and Premium jersey versions are included.
Local designs across all 32 clubs
The NHL said every jersey was designed from scratch around the team’s city and supporters. Chicago’s green design includes four six-pointed stars on each sleeve as a reference to the city flag. Winnipeg’s includes an aurora borealis scene, while Toronto’s reworks an early Maple Leafs logo with leaf-vein detail.
Dom Fillion, Fanatics’ vice president of creative design, said in the release that collaboration with clubs was intended to make the designs feel personal to each city and fan base. Fanatics had previously designed uniforms for individual league events and team anniversaries, but Hometown Remix brings all 32 clubs into a single program.
The launch gives Fanatics a leaguewide retail collection tied to a season-long schedule of on-ice appearances. The announcement did not disclose revenue forecasts, sales targets or financial terms for the program, so the number of participating teams and games should not be read as a prediction of merchandise sales.
