Updated November 3, 2026, to reflect the reported filing of indictments following the earlier arrests.

Prosecutors indicted six suspected members of a Jenin-area cell on Tuesday morning over accusations that they established infrastructure to produce rockets for use against Israel and its security forces, The Jerusalem Post reported.

The indictments are a later development than the arrests reported earlier. The six suspects, all Jenin-area residents in their 30s, had been arrested in recent months during an investigation by the Shin Bet and Israel Police’s Judea and Samaria District Central Unit, the Post reported. The charges are allegations, not findings of guilt.

Investigators said the cell had manufactured a rocket body and explosive devices and carried out three test launches, according to the Post. The report said one suspect described successive tests and improvements during questioning, while another said he had helped obtain explosives and sold weapons to cell members.

The investigation also found that the main suspect had been in contact with someone outside Israel who sent information through a messaging app about materials for making explosives, the Post reported.

Security forces seized weapons, including an M16 rifle and an RPG component, together with instructional documents on explosives and rockets, according to the Post. The earlier Israel National News report described a prosecutor’s declaration of intent and said indictments were expected; Tuesday’s Post report says prosecutors have now indicted the six suspects.
