Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar won reelection to a fifth term in Minnesota’s 5th Congressional District on Tuesday, defeating Republican John Nagel and independent DeVelle Jackson.
The Associated Press called the race, and CBS News projected her victory.
Omar has represented the Minneapolis-area district since 2019.
The result is a media race call, not election certification.
