Brooklyn Public Library is offering free one-on-one support for entrepreneurs today, Friday, November 6, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Sunset Park Library, 5108 Fourth Avenue. No appointment is needed.

The walk-in sessions are open to anyone starting or running a small business, with help available in finding resources to register a business, look into loans and grants, apply for permits, market services, learn new tech tools and manage finances. Details are in the event listing.

All industries are welcome, including fashion, restaurants, childcare, cleaning, delivery, consulting, retail and street vending.

Those who cannot make it can email ydavid@bklynlibrary.org or use the form linked from the event page for a free, customized list of business resources.

The multilingual business help program is supported by Carnegie Corporation of New York. A broader $1 million grant awarded to Brooklyn Public Library on June 4 runs for 24 months and supports English-language instruction, workforce services and teen programs. Its planned reach includes about 300 people receiving entrepreneurship support.
