Netflix has posted eight new job openings for its planned $1 billion production studio at Fort Monmouth, New Jersey, with two managerial roles carrying salary ranges of $181,000 to $323,000, NJ.com reported.
The listings – a stage specialist, logistics coordinator, site and services specialist, site and services coordinator, client services coordinator, studio safety specialist, logistics manager and studio admin manager – are among the first wave of hiring for the East Coast flagship studio, which will feature 12 soundstages across Eatontown and Oceanport. The logistics manager will oversee studio billing and budgets; the studio administrative manager will run daily administrative operations and budgets.
The studio is projected to be fully operational by 2028 and to create more than 3,500 construction jobs and 1,500 permanent production jobs. Crews began vertical construction on the Eatontown parcel in August, weeks after Netflix and construction company JT Magen marked the installation of the final structural beam on the last dual soundstage in Oceanport. Netflix bought the nearly 300-acre property for $55 million in December 2025. Both boroughs have payment-in-lieu-of-taxes agreements with the company.
Netflix first posted jobs for the studio in February. The new openings follow the company’s announcement that it would cut roughly 1,000 employees, about 6% of its workforce, amid slowing growth.
