CrowdStrike has signed separate definitive agreements to acquire Dreadnode and Fiddler AI, extending its planned security and oversight tools for enterprise artificial intelligence, the cybersecurity company said in two announcements.

Neither acquisition has closed. Each is expected to close during CrowdStrike’s fourth quarter of fiscal 2027, subject to customary closing conditions. The company said each purchase price is expected to be paid predominantly in cash, with a portion in stock subject to vesting conditions. It did not disclose dollar amounts in the announcements.

Security testing and agent oversight

Under the Dreadnode agreement, CrowdStrike plans to add automated testing of AI models, applications and agents to its Falcon platform. The proposed tools would test for weaknesses such as jailbreaks and prompt injection before deployment, rank findings by severity and support human review.

CrowdStrike said Dreadnode’s team would join its Cyber Superintelligence Lab. It expects the automated AI security testing capabilities to become generally available in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2027.

The Fiddler AI agreement focuses on evaluating AI agents before deployment and tracking their behavior once in use. CrowdStrike plans to offer the technology as Falcon Observe, with general availability also planned for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2027.

The planned Fiddler capabilities include tracing agent actions, detecting unintended behavior and providing evidence for audits. CrowdStrike described Dreadnode as a way to find security weaknesses and Fiddler as a way to assess whether agents behaved as intended. These integrations and product availability dates are forward-looking plans, not completed launches.
