Elbit Systems said Monday it had won contracts worth approximately $200 million to supply airborne surveillance, targeting and training equipment to a country in Asia-Pacific. The Israeli defense technology company did not name the customer.

The contracts will be carried out over as long as five years, according to the company’s October 26 announcement. They cover equipment for helicopters, support and upgrades for existing aircraft training systems, and head-up displays.

A central part of the order is the SPECTRO 12, a compact sensor and targeting payload that will be integrated onto helicopters. Elbit says the system combines multispectral imaging, a laser designator and artificial intelligence-powered image processing to detect, identify and track targets at long range. The company describes it as designed for aircraft with tight limits on equipment size, weight and power consumption.

The training portion includes follow-on support and upgrades for systems already installed on aircraft. Those systems combine live flying with virtual combat scenarios, allowing pilots to practice air-to-air and air-to-ground missions. Their functions include real-time combat simulation, weapons scoring and mission debriefing, the company said.

The contracts also include head-up displays, which put flight and mission information in a pilot’s forward field of view. Elbit says the displays support day and night operations and offer higher-resolution video with low power consumption.

The announcement does not disclose how the approximately $200 million is divided among the equipment, training and support services, or how many systems the customer will receive.

For scale, Elbit reported revenue of $2.287 billion for the three months ended June 30, 2026, and an order backlog of $32 billion as of that date. Those figures, included in Monday’s announcement, describe the company’s position at the end of the second quarter.
