TailorMed said Monday, November 2, that GrowthCurve Capital has made a majority investment in the medication-access technology company, backing an expansion of its platform for providers, pharmacies and patients. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The 10 a.m. announcement pairs TailorMed with a New York private-equity firm focused on helping middle-market companies use data and artificial intelligence. TailorMed said the investment will support product development and broaden its reach across medication access, affordability and adherence.
TailorMed helps healthcare providers and pharmacies identify patients who may struggle to pay for prescribed medicines and connect them with coverage, support programs and financial assistance. Its broader goal is to help patients start therapy and stay on it, rather than address affordability alone.
The company says its network includes more than 950 hospitals, 4,700 clinics and 3,100 pharmacies. It also says it has supported more than 75 million patients and secured more than $7.4 billion in financial assistance since 2020. Those are company-reported cumulative figures, not independent measures of the new investment’s results.
Co-founder and Chief Executive Srulik Dvorsky said GrowthCurve will support TailorMed as it expands across the medication lifecycle. GrowthCurve’s head of healthcare investing, Vignesh Aier, said the firm plans to support investment in the platform and its growth.
Leerink Partners and TripleTree advised TailorMed on the transaction. The announcement did not disclose the size of GrowthCurve’s stake beyond describing it as a majority investment, or a valuation for TailorMed.
