Elon Musk joked about putting data centers in space after Democrat Gina Hinojosa’s victory in the Texas governor’s race, Axios reported early Wednesday.
“Data centers in space looking pretty appealing right now,” Musk wrote on X, according to Axios.
Axios described the remark as a reaction to the election outcome and Hinojosa’s opposition to data centers. It was a joke, not an announced plan to move or build data centers in orbit.
