Palo Alto Networks is in talks to acquire Beacon Security, a two-year-old Israeli cybersecurity startup, Calcalist reported. No deal has been announced, and no price or closing has been confirmed.

The talks are separate from Palo Alto’s reported negotiations to buy another Israeli startup, Clutch Security, for about $500 million.

Beacon, founded in 2024, builds a platform that lets security teams deploy AI agents to detect, investigate and respond to cyber threats. It aggregates data from hundreds of sources across an organization, normalizes and enriches it, and gives AI agents a unified view of the company’s security environment. The company also offers a library of ready-to-use security agents.

Beacon raised $13 million in a July seed round led by Notable Capital. The company says its annual recurring revenue grew more than 300% in the first half of 2026 — a company claim, with revenue and customer numbers not disclosed.

The founders are CEO Gal Tal-Hochberg, Chief Product Officer Or Mattatia and Chief Technology Officer Ido Israeli, all veterans of the IDF’s intelligence units 8200 and 81. Tal-Hochberg previously co-founded HiredScore, an AI recruitment company.
