AMSTERDAM – Philips has launched a fixed-room version of its HyperVue coronary-imaging system in the United States, aiming to make tools used to assess heart arteries available without moving and reconnecting a mobile unit for each procedure.

The company announced U.S. commercial availability on Friday, October 30. It plans to showcase the HyperVue Integrated System at the TCT 2026 cardiovascular conference in San Diego, which opens Saturday and runs through November 3.

The system combines imaging from inside coronary arteries with tools for assessing coronary physiology. Philips says the fixed configuration keeps its DeepOCT+NIRS imaging and X1-FFR assessment connected in a dedicated interventional suite.

The practical change is where and how that equipment is used. The mobile version has to be brought into the room, powered and connected for each case. The integrated version stays installed, with a table-mounted touchscreen allowing bedside control within the sterile field.

Philips says the arrangement is designed to reduce setup steps and make advanced imaging easier to use in the daily workflow of a cardiac catheterization laboratory. The company also updated the controller to simplify setup and operation.

The launch is a new commercial configuration of an existing imaging platform, rather than an announcement of a new heart-disease treatment or a clinical trial showing improved patient outcomes. Philips identifies the different HyperVue configurations as forms of its FDA-cleared HyperVue Imaging System – Integrated product.

At TCT, Philips will also display IntraSight Plus, a separate U.S.-available platform that brings together ultrasound imaging, coronary physiology and procedure-guidance tools. The company says the broader portfolio is intended to help doctors assess coronary disease, plan treatment and check procedural results.

The details were published in a Philips announcement issued Friday afternoon.
