TriPost Capital Partners is providing approximately $66.5 million in strategic capital to Trilogy Investment Company, the residential developer announced Monday, in a deal designed to fund its platform and future housing projects.
The package is broader than a single property purchase. It combines growth and balance-sheet capital, a commitment to future Trilogy projects and the recapitalization of selected existing investments, according to the company announcement.
A continuing source of project capital
New York-based TriPost plans to invest alongside Trilogy at the general-partner level. The companies say that structure gives approved projects a more consistent capital source than raising equity separately for every transaction. The commitment includes provisions for potential additional tranches; those are not described as money already deployed.
Alpharetta-based Trilogy develops build-to-rent and for-sale housing. It says the partnership will support expansion across Sun Belt markets. Multifamily Executive reported the investment Monday evening.
Pipeline is not completed housing
Trilogy reported preliminary assets under management of about $800 million and more than 3,290 lots and homes owned or under construction. Its approximately 12,000-unit development pipeline is a separate measure, not a count of finished rental homes.
The firm says more than 2,000 homes are slated to enter construction in 2027 and 2028. Those remain plans rather than completed deliveries. It also reported advancing more than eight build-to-rent communities representing approximately 1,025 homes during 2026.
The announcement cited the previously completed Solomon Farms joint venture in Statesboro, Georgia, as an example of its expansion. That 219-acre development includes more than 1,200 planned units across several housing types. It is not a new acquisition announced with Monday’s capital partnership.
