A video shared by Army radio on Saturday from a Nahariya beach showed how rockets fired during a Hezbollah barrage hit the water, with beachgoers running to take shelter amid the explosions.

This was Hezbollah’s first barrage of missiles fired against Nahariya in almost a month, with the IDF reporting that several projectiles were intercepted or fell into open areas.

Hezbollah also targeted the city of Karmiel, in northern Israel, in an incident that represented the deepest attack by the Lebanese terror organization since the ceasefire was agreed a month ago.

Hezbollah has intensified its fire over Friday night and into Saturday, with a total of 10-15 rockets launched overnight and more during the day. One missile fired overnight directly hit the city center of Kiryat Shmona, the IDF announced early Saturday morning.

The impact reportedly caused significant damage to businesses and shops; however, there were no reported deaths or injuries.

According to Kiryat Shmona Mayor Avichai Stern, all other missiles were successfully intercepted by Iron Dome during the barrage.

IDF warns of possible increase in Hezbollah fire towards northern Israel

The IDF warned on Saturday that it was preparing for the possibility of intensified fire from Lebanon, specifically toward northern Israel, following the advancement of IDF operations in southern Lebanon.

While there is no change to the Home Front Command guidelines, the IDF emphasized that the public should remain vigilant and act responsibly while continuing to adhere to the current guidelines.

This is a developing story.
