Yisrael Beiteinu moved ahead of Ra’am in Israel’s partial vote count Thursday, with 336,393 votes against 335,999 in the latest Central Elections Committee snapshot. That puts the two lists just 394 votes apart, but their projected seat totals have not changed: Yisrael Beiteinu remains at seven and Ra’am at eight in JBizNews’ calculation.
The CEC’s national results page recorded 5,697,290 ballots from 12,884 polling stations at 7:20 p.m. Israel time on October 29, equivalent to 1:20 p.m. EDT. Those totals included 5,671,534 valid ballots and 25,756 invalid ballots.
In the preceding published snapshot, at 6:04 p.m. Israel time, Ra’am had 335,391 votes and Yisrael Beiteinu 335,185, a lead of 206 for Ra’am. The new figures add 18,479 ballots overall and 40 polling stations.
A change in vote ranking, not in seats
All 11 qualifying lists retain the same projected seat totals as in the previous report. Likud remains at 27 and Shas at six; there is no new gain or loss of a seat in this latest update.
A higher vote rank does not by itself guarantee more seats. The calculation uses the Bader-Ofer allocation method and the lists’ filed surplus-vote agreements. Ra’am and the Joint List filed an agreement, while Yisrael Beiteinu and Beyachad filed another. On these partial totals, those calculations leave Ra’am with eight seats and Yisrael Beiteinu with seven despite the reversed vote order.
Projected Knesset seats
CEC snapshot: October 29, 2026, 7:20 p.m. Israel time (1:20 p.m. EDT).
JBizNews partial-count projection, not an official seat allocation. If these votes were final, the 120 seats would divide as below under Bader-Ofer and the CEC-filed surplus agreements. The projection will change as counting continues.
Minimum to qualify: 3.25% of valid votes, or 184,325 votes at this snapshot. That is roughly four seats’ worth of votes, not a fixed four-seat entitlement.
