President Isaac Herzog spoke with the King of Bahrain, Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, on Sunday, calling the country an “important partner in shaping the future of the Middle East” in a post on X/Twitter.
“We discussed strengthening the friendship and the growing relations between Israel and Bahrain, as well as the importance of the Abraham Accords, led by the United States, in enhancing security, stability, and prosperity across the entire Middle East,” said Herzog. “We also talked about the latest developments and the importance of cooperation and dialogue between the countries of the region.”

Herzog congratulated King Hamad on his “bold leadership and vision,” expressing his appreciation for the King’s contribution to “deepening peace, stability, and cooperation between our countries.”
