Ra’am moved ahead of Yisrael Beytenu by 271 votes in Israel’s latest official election count Monday. The Central Elections Committee’s 9:08 a.m. Israel-time update listed Ra’am at 337,684 votes and Yisrael Beytenu at 337,413. Both parties still showed 5.93% because the displayed percentages are rounded.
The committee’s national results page recorded 5,716,679 ballots from 12,926 polling stations, including 5,690,691 valid votes and 25,988 invalid ballots. The snapshot was dated 9:08 a.m. Israel time, or 2:08 a.m. Eastern Standard Time, on Monday, November 2.
The change reverses the order described in JBizNews’s October 29 count report, when Yisrael Beytenu was ahead. That earlier report remains a record of the count at that time, not the current tally.
Likud remained first with 1,167,458 votes, or 20.52%. Gadi Eisenkot’s Yashar list had 913,542 votes, or 16.05%; Naftali Bennett’s Beyachad had 531,881, or 9.35%; and the Joint List had 500,624, or 8.80%. The Democrats stood at 366,287 votes, or 6.44%.
Below Ra’am and Yisrael Beytenu, Otzma Yehudit had 326,696 votes, or 5.74%; United Torah Judaism had 312,609, or 5.49%; Shas had 299,506, or 5.26%; and the Religious Zionism-Zehut list had 290,451, or 5.10%.
The Reservists-Economic list remained below the 3.25% electoral threshold, with 154,985 votes, or 2.72%. The new snapshot did not move a list across that line.
A change in vote ranking is not an official allocation of Knesset seats. This update does not make a seat projection or establish a final election result or governing coalition.
The committee says results may still change before final results are published in the official gazette by Wednesday, November 4.
