Republican Gov. Kelly Ayotte is projected to defeat Democratic challenger Cinde Warmington in New Hampshire’s governor race, the Fox News Decision Desk reported Tuesday night.

The projected result would give Ayotte a second two-year term. She was first elected governor in 2024 after previously serving as state attorney general, Fox reported.

Affordable housing was a focus for Ayotte, while Warmington, a healthcare attorney and former state executive council member, emphasized the cost of living, according to Fox’s election-night report.

The outcome is an attributed media projection, not election certification.
